Masonry

The Monty Tech Masonry program exposes students to all aspects of the masonry trade. Students learn the art of bricklaying, block laying, tile setting, stone setting, as well as concrete finishing. Students are involved in shop projects as well as live work on school grounds, and during the junior and senior year of the program, Masonry students participate in community projects, to include the annual construction project. The workmanship demonstrated on these community-based projects speaks to the high-quality instruction our Masonry students receive, and to their ability as young professionals in the field of Masonry.

After graduation students may seek employment in any of the following career pathways:

  • Bricklayer
  • Concrete Worker
