Our Special Education Department recognizes the importance of individualizing educational experiences to develop the skills necessary for our students to reach their full potential. Our committed staff work directly with students who are impacted by disabilities to provide each one the services they need. Our department takes great pride in the quality of the services offered and values the importance of developing individualized skills to obtain independence and create post secondary pathways. If you have any questions about our programs or specialized services that are available to you and your student, please feel free to contact a member of our Special Education staff.
Every student receiving special education services is assigned a special education liaison that serves as the primary contact for your student. Our department strives to ensure strong communication and personalized support. In order to address and meet the needs of our students, we have the following continuum of placements and services available:

Welcome to the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School District Special Education Parent Advisory Council.
We are the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School District’s Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC). The purpose of the SEPAC is to facilitate conversations, provide a voice, and give support for parents of children with special education needs. We are a counsel of parent volunteers who work in conjunction with the Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School District to ensure that children get the services and support they require to develop to their full potential.
All parents are welcome and encouraged to participate.
The SEPAC is a forum for parents to help parents. We know that understanding your child’s special needs may sometimes feel confusing and overwhelming. We strive to help families better understand special education regulations, and develop awareness of the student’s rights and services available to them under the law. We’re also here to advise them on matters that pertain to the health, safety, and education of student’s with special needs.
To learn more about the SEPAC please contact the Special Education office at 978 345-9200 ext. 5258.
