Chromebooks

Every student at Monty Tech is provided with a chromebook, at no cost, in an effort to promote increased communication and collaboration between instructors and peers.  Our instructors continue to develop engaging curriculum that requires students to access particular applications, so it is important that students bring their Chromebooks to school each day, fully charged.  Students are encouraged to store their Chromebooks in a protective case at all times.  The School Store has plenty of these cases in stock, which can be purchased for $27.00.  In the event students misplace their charger, those can also be purchased in the school store for $37.00.

After school internet access-While students are able to work offline on their personal devices, and print assignments at various locations throughout the school, students may require access to internet services beyond the traditional school day.  For students who have limited access to internet service in their homes, we offer links to the following locations across the Monty Tech School District that offer free wireless access.  Students are encouraged to visit any of these locations to access their wireless networks, and, in the event such access is not suitable for the students’ needs, we would encourage you to visit with the Monty Tech Technology Department for alternative resources.
